| We are requesting this item for the staff at The Barbara A. Mouton Multicultural Wellness Center (The Mouton Center) that just opened in East Palo Alto on June 30, 2009. The Mouton center is a drop-in, self-help, "home away from home" and resource center for East Palo Alto mental health consumers and their families. The center is developed and operated by One East Palo Alto, and funded by San Mateo County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services. Since the cultural make-up of East Palo Alto is primarily latino/latina, The Mouton Center staff would greatly benefit from being able to communicate effectively with potential and existing clients. |
