| Newly arrived men, women and children from Mexico are given "welcome bags" upon their arrival to South Coast San Mateo County (Pescadero, La Honda, San Gregorio and Loma Mar). The welcome bags contain disposable razors, deodorant, and other toiletries; hand and bath towels, washrags; taqueria coupons; blankets and sleeping bags, which help those who arrive with only the "shirts on their backs". |
