Mission Community Gatepath is enabling children and adults with disabilities to achieve their full potential in health and work and to live as fully integrated members of the community.

Services

Community Gatepath provides its participants and their families with an environment that fosters hope, dignity, and independence for all. Our services span a lifetime, offering programs for children, adults, and seniors. Children’s Services provides early intervention to help infants and children with special needs enhance their motor, cognitive and communication skills during the critical stages of development. Learning Links Preschool, a collaborative effort with Burlingame School District and Burlingame Parks and Recreation, is an inclusive setting where children with special needs learn alongside typically developing children.

For adults with disabilities, Gatepath focuses on independent living and vocational skill development through its Transition for Young Adults and Life Skills programs. Landscape Services and Production Services are Gatepath’s social business enterprises that employ adults with disabilities in a group setting to foster teamwork and job readiness. When participants are prepared to work more independently, Employment Services provides job training and placement in local businesses. Gatepath also offers wellness and recreation day programs for adults and seniors with developmental disabilities.
